KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow process and ensure all work undertaken for clients is appropriately handled
- Procedurise and document work undertaken
- Liaise with customer ICT departments for technical environment(s) for system solutions
- Develop solution designs for electronic information and document management solutions, including scanning solutions according to best practice and legislative and business requirements
- Develop workflow solution designs for business processes and procedures and provide advice/consultancy on improvements where required for clients and according to best practice and legislative and business requirements and providing suitable documentation
- Review and analyse technical documentation created by software providers where required
IMPLEMENTATION OF BUSINESS SYSTEMS
FYB implements a number of solutions to provide clients a total Information Governance solution, these systems include.
- OpenText Content Manager
- OpenText Voltage Fusion
- EzeScan
- Digitus InMailX
- Archive360
The following requirements refer to the above systems.
- Liaise with business users to understand their information and records management requirements
- Install and configure solutions to meet client requirements and according to best practice and legislative requirements
- Carrying out Data Migration activities for relevant solutions
- Facilitate User Acceptance User Testing including the collation and documentation of results and resolution of issues that arise
- Develop and prepare systems documentation as required
PROJECT TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate, co-ordinate and liaise with project members and other respondents to meet deadlines as outlined in the project plan
- Contribute to Project Management via updating tasks within our online Project Management Platform
- Plan, organize and execute tasks required to resolve system issues and problems
- Provide regular progress reports to the designated Project Manager
- Identify and resolve any delivery and/or implementation issues
- Participate in Post Implementation Reviews
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Maintain and upgrade your skills as required
- Continually review work practices and make improvements where possible
- Undertake professional training as required
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of procedural documentation needed to perform FYB activities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
This is an entry level position, however experience within the I.T. industry, and or Information Governance and Management area is required:
- 2+ Years in I.T. in technical role/capacity
- I.T. Qualifications from Certificate IV and above
- Microsoft AZ900 certified
- Comfortability with using Microsoft Excel formulas
- Willing to learn
If you have any skills with any of the noted listed systems, please ensure to reference this in your application. However, this is not a requirement for the role and internal training can be organised accordingly

- Available if required to carry out some weekend work for system upgrade Projects
- Time in lieu days provided for weekend work and specific weekends can be reserved where events are scheduled (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, family gathering, etc) and you are unavailable for weekend work
- Ability to multi-task and move quickly from task to task
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Hardworking and takes responsibility for the performance of their own work
