Responsibilities
  • Lead new project scheme design, structural design, mold review, and project requirement analysis to ensure innovative and robust product development.
  • Spearhead the mechanical design of plastic parts, sheet metal components, heatsinks, die-cast parts, product stacking design, and conduct comprehensive tolerance analysis.
  • Deliver complete and accurate project documentation, drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and baseboard layouts to streamline the development process.
  •  Enhance existing product designs and resolve mechanical issues throughout the product declaration and lifecycle process
  • Develop and implement new technologies to boost production quality, capacity, and efficiency, ensuring Nokia remains a market leader

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with more than 6 years, or Master’s degree with more than 5 years, of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools: Creo, Ansys, AutoCAD, and CorelDRAW.
  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in plastic, die-cast, and sheet metal design, with a solid foundation in tooling design and manufacturing processes.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design for CPE/ONT/Wi-Fi router products.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards such as UL62368, particularly regarding materials and mechanical design constraints.
  • Strong experience in thermal simulation and analysis.

  • Demonstrate teamwork, passion for learning new technologies, self-motivation, independent working ability, and strong communication skills. 
  • Proven record of cross-team collaboration.
