Job Description – Techno-Functional QA

Primary Skills

  • Requirements analysis and test planning.

  • Functional, integration, and regression testing.

  • Defect logging, reporting, and QA process knowledge.

  • Test artifacts and evidence maintenance for audit and compliance.

  • Jira and basic to intermediate SQL.

  • API testing using Postman.

  • Exposure to Selenium automation and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and prepare test plans and test cases.

  • Design and execute manual functional, regression, and integration tests.

  • Handle client SPOC interactions and independently manage testing activities.

  • Maintain testing artifacts and evidence as per defined processes.

  • Support production validation and post-deployment checks.

  • Act as a quality gatekeeper for production releases and support Go/No-Go decisions.

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Perform RCA for issues and provide inputs to relevant teams.

  • Perform NFR and automation testing.

  • Provide on-call support after office hours and during weekends on a rotational basis for planned deployments and emergency fix validations.

  • Maintain SLA and KPI metrics.

  • Ensure proper handover of activities to the next shift.
