About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to drive software architecture, technology standardization, and engineering excellence across Service Delivery. As a member of the Architecture & Technology Board, you will establish scalable, secure, and reusable architecture patterns, guide engineering teams, and ensure technology decisions align with enterprise standards and business objectives.
What you will do:
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cloud-native solutions.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools.
- Drive technology standardization, reuse, and consistency across platforms and applications.
- Promote reusable architectural components and roadmap-driven solution design.
- Guide engineering teams on solution design, coding standards, and architecture practices.
- Support the development of microservices, API-driven, and cloud-native applications.
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, static code analysis, and modern software engineering practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and solution approval processes.
- Identify technical risks, design gaps, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance requirements, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, AI Architects, and engineering teams.
- Leverage existing platforms, frameworks, and shared services to maximize reuse.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, support proof-of-concepts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The skills you bring:
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), service mesh, API gateways, caching strategies, circuit breakers, and rate-limiting.
- Experience with SonarQube, automated quality pipelines, and engineering governance practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications and enterprise integration platforms.
- Telecom domain experience.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or TOGAF.
