Lead API automation testing for bespoke applications, owning quality across the SDLC. Design and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory and risk-based tests (SOAP/REST), manage test planning and reporting, collaborate with development and business teams, provide quality estimates, and use Agile practices and tools (JIRA/Xray).
JD Senior Test Analyst Test solutions for the Bespoke Applications • Minimum of 7 to 12 years of senior QA experience, owning the quality function for the project. • Knowledge and experience in any one of the automation tools e.g Playwright , Cypress • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery team environment with in-depth knowledge of the full testing life cycle. • Strong investigative and analytical qualities and ability to contribute to an environment of continuous improvement. • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. • Knowledge and experience of testing SOAP and REST web services. • Excellent experience on Risk based testing, Exploratory and Integration testing. • Experience in test management on teams using both Agile and traditional delivery methods and tools. • Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively addressed. • Experience providing Quality estimates and plan the task. • Experience conducting both functional testing and knowledge of non-functional testing. • Well versed with testing concepts, test planning, Integration testing, Regression testing, test reporting, risk management. • Strong experience of test planning, documentation reviews and creation of test completion reports after each release. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Customer facing experience, working with the business/end users on coordination, testing, and follow-ups. • Experience working in Agile, Kanban preferably Scrum, using JIRA/Xray, standups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Desirable • ISEB / ISTQB certified. • JavaScript/TypeScript experience. • Stay current with the latest tools, and methodologies. • Knowledge of mocks and stubs in testing.
