Education
- Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tradenet
- Must have Certification in Financial Markets
- Proven track record working in complex banking/ trading technology environments, ideally with Global Wealth Managers, Broking firms or Investment Banks
- Strong domain understanding of the Trade lifecycle, STP and Front to Back system flows in Capital Markets instruments – Equities and Derivatives
- Excellent understanding of the Brokerage business including Private Banking, Priority Banking, Asset Management, Islamic Banking and Investment Banking, capital markets
- Excellent understanding on SWIFT integration
Technical Skills
- Experience in Business Analysis and System Implementation with extensive experience in trading platforms
- Brokerage system knowledge: Very good understanding of Brokerage business and systems such as TradeNet and Global custodian systems
- Working knowledge of industry related protocols including FIX.
- Technical knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL
- Technical knowledge in Jboss administration
- Understanding of Apache ActiveMQ message broker
Functional Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred
- Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies
- Focus on quality of the deliverables to ensure long term stability of the system
Soft Skills
- Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
- Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization
- Have excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to Senior and Executive management
