Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, this position contributes to company's success by ensuring an efficient banking structure to support its global operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects. The Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of Treasury Operations activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company and supporting the cash forecasting process. The Treasury Analyst will be accountable for accurate and timely coordination, preparation and/or submission for internal and external reporting for Treasury functions. Moreover, he (she) will manage various day-to-day activities and provide the required support to the treasury department for data analysis and decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support cash forecasting process both short term and long term for North America, Europe and local India Office including the development of any new cash forecasting process for new divisions.
- Maintain cash requirements related to company outflows across all Targray entities and advise of any additional capital requirements.
- Update and maintain Receivable Financing reconciliation and report on daily position of outstanding RF balances per bank.
- Provide FX Forecasts to internal stakeholders.
- Set-up International/Domestic payments in banking system for treasury and accounts payable and preform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage the structure of bank accounts, including opening accounts and tracking signing authorities.
- Reconciliation of key treasury accounts such as bank interest, bank charges, cash position and bank indebtedness and other analysis as required
- Preparation of monthly sales report for EDC and Euler premiums
- Maintain and update Cash balance report Foreign Exchange rates in Great Plains (weekly and Monthly).
- Preparation of new banking facility on-boarding package and completion of banking on-boarding questions (as required).
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, administration, or related field.
- 3+ year’s work experience in treasury/cash management working in a financial function, budgeting, reporting or treasury or banking field preferred.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), advanced analytical, quantitative skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work on a later shift in India to accommodate Canada time zone.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent ability to focus, work under pressure and tight deadlines, in a context of changing priorities.
- Team spirit and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
