Job Summary:

The User Experience (UX) Designer champions the user perspective across all stages of the digital product lifecycle. This role leads and supports user research, facilitates design thinking activities, and creates intuitive, user‑centered digital experiences. Working in an agile environment, the UX Designer translates business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements into high‑quality designs that elevate customer and partner experiences and drive consistency across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design user experiences for new and existing digital applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, stakeholders, and other UX team members in an agile environment.
  • Communicate design decisions, rationale, and best practices to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Contribute to design principles, guidelines, and pattern libraries.
  • Support and help govern a unified enterprise design system.
  • Stay informed on UX trends, research methods, and user preferences.
  • Partner with the UX Research team to interpret analytics, conduct usability testing, and support user research.
  • Work independently with strong ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Advocate for design thinking, user‑centered design, and user research within the organization.
  • Produce UX deliverables including personas, journey maps, sitemaps, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and style guides.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in user experience or interactive design for web and mobile applications within an agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience design expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively with research partners, design agencies, and implementation vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong user‑centered design and design thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to facilitate design studios, workshops, and research activities.
  • Ability to balance business needs, user goals, and technical constraints.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, actionable design artifacts.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • (Preferred) Experience in HVAC or manufacturing, responsive mobile design, Salesforce or Adobe Experience Manager, B2B and B2C experience design, visual design, industrial design, or content writing.
