UX/UI Designer
Join us as our UX/UI Designer at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, in Chennai to design key areas of the product from a UI/UX perspective, working with the functional and technical designers to ensure that the design is practical and can be implemented from a technical perspective and is usable from a user perspective. Ensure that the UI/UX design is well understood and agreed by Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, Development and Testing.
What you’ll achieveAs the UX/UI Designer, you will assist in conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. Contribute to maintaining design systems and preparing assets for development handoff and making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
You will:
Investigating user experience design requirements for our digital assets
Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets
Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, and design prototypes
Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyse and predict user behaviour
Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design

Essential Requirements
Must be proficient in Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop
Must have working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS) and mobile devices
Must have previous experience of the full software development lifecycle preferably gained in a product development environment.
Strong analytical skills and structured approach. Must be able to analyse business requirements alongside technical constraints to produce a workable overall design.
Knowledge of the healthcare domain is beneficial
Desirable Requirements
Able to build rapport with, and constructively challenge, domain specialists to understand which requirements are essential versus nice to have.
Shows good listening ability. Shows openness to take feedback in a constructive manner. The ability to demonstrate that requirements have been fully understood and analysed in depth is essential.
Ability to make clear, concise and persuasive presentations
