Frequently Asked Questions

Cultural Alignment

Zeta Global’s culture is built around growth, collaboration, inclusion, innovation and measurable impact. The company defines its culture through five virtues — grow, humanize, commit, collaborate and innovate — and uses those principles to guide how employees work together, recognize contributions and solve customer challenges.

  • Virtues-driven culture: Zeta describes its vision as making sophisticated marketing simple, supported by the virtues grow, humanize, commit, collaborate and innovate. Those virtues show up in operating behaviors such as “Truth Fosters Trust,” which encourages employees to listen to understand and debate with an open mind, and “Win Together,” which encourages teams to seek inspiration in others and let the best idea win.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Zeta’s work depends on collaboration across sales, product, engineering, data, client services and marketing teams. Employees describe daily cross-functional work to solve customer needs, build AI-powered marketing products and translate marketing ideas into technical execution. A senior engineering manager said Zeta “empowers everyone to push limits and boundaries,” while a senior director of account management said there is not a day when teams are not working with someone from another team to figure out solutions.
  • Recognition and connection: Zeta reinforces culture through quarterly town halls, local hubs, employee resource groups, ZetaCares and Virtues Awards that recognize teammates who demonstrate exemplary qualities and contribute positively to company culture. Local hubs help employees build relationships and collaborate, while seasonal gatherings and ERG-led programming create opportunities to celebrate achievements, reflect on successes and connect across regions.
  • Inclusive employee communities: Zeta supports belonging through employee groups for Asian and Pacific Islander employees, Black employees, neurodiverse employees, Hispanic and Latinx employees, LGBTQIA+ employees and allies, women and sustainability. A director of culture and inclusion said Zeta’s holiday programming centers on “inclusivity, connection and celebrating together as one global team.”
  • External signals:
    • Culture strength: Employees on external review sites rate Zeta’s culture 4.6 out of 5, with an A+ overall culture rating and Top 5% ranking among similarly sized companies. (Comparably)
    • Team and collaboration: Zeta has an 87 out of 100 team score, with displayed respondents rating coworker quality and meeting effectiveness positively. Employees also describe an “amazing culture of growth and support.” (Comparably)
    • Recognition and support: Reviews cite “helpful team,” “collaborative environment,” “great camaraderie,” “supportive and friendly” people and improving employee engagement. (Glassdoor reviews; Indeed reviews)

Bottom line: Zeta Global’s culture centers on ambitious AI-powered work, open collaboration, inclusive communities and recognition practices that celebrate employees who live the company’s virtues.

Give us an overview of the holiday season at Zeta Global. Are there any companywide celebrations or days off?

At Zeta, the holiday season is about inclusivity, connection and celebrating together as one global team. With unlimited PTO, employees have the flexibility to honor their traditions in ways that matter most to them. Our Zeta Hubs — local employee groups across the globe — organize regional gatherings that bridge geographical barriers, creating opportunities for employees to celebrate the season, recognize achievements and reflect on the year’s successes, no matter where they’re located. It’s a time for connection and gratitude, tailored to everyone.

How does Zeta Global make the holidays inclusive?

Zeta prioritizes inclusivity during the holidays by hosting educational and cultural sessions through our employee resource groups. These sessions spotlight diverse celebrations and foster understanding, unity and meaningful conversations.

For instance, MOSAIC, our ERG for employees and allies of Asian and Pacific Islander descent, hosted a vibrant, virtual Diwali celebration; while Pride facilitated discussions on navigating the holidays as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. These initiatives create a supportive space where everyone can feel seen and valued, making the season brighter for all.

What makes the holiday celebrations a reflection of Zeta Global’s values, mission and culture?

The holiday season at Zeta reflects our core virtues of inclusivity, generosity and community. Through ZetaGives, employees nominate their favorite charities, with four selected organizations receiving donations to advance their missions. Additionally, our annual Toys for Tots drive unites employees in bringing joy to children in need.

These initiatives embody the spirit of giving and connection, showcasing Zeta’s commitment to making a positive impact. At Zeta, we’re proud to foster a culture where celebrating diversity and giving back go hand in hand, strengthening our bond as a team and with our communities.

Zeta really values its employees of all backgrounds. They’ve done a phenomenal job al allowing us to form Employee Resource Groups where people from underrepresented groups are able to form a community and are able to communicate throughout the company with our history, our background, our culture, and to really have a voice here at Zeta.
