Analytics Senior Associate
Role summary:
Make data more useful for decisions by turning complex information into clear analysis, reporting, and insights that support business priorities. In this hybrid role based in Chennai, India, you will work across data sources and reporting tools to help teams understand trends, track performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. This role requires 4 to 8 years of experience and NA% annual travel. This person will report to the Analytics Senior Manager.
Team summary:
The Analytics team supports business decision-making by delivering trusted reporting, meaningful analysis, and data visualizations that help teams act with confidence. The team works with stakeholders across functions to translate data into practical insights, improve visibility into performance, and support operational effectiveness. This role contributes to the team’s work by combining CRM knowledge, SQL, Python, and visualization skills to create accurate and timely analytical outputs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from Salesforce or other CRM systems to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Build and maintain queries and datasets using Snowflake SQL to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Develop analysis workflows and data transformations using Python to improve efficiency and repeatability.
- Create dashboards and visualizations in tools such as Salesforce CRM Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or R Studio to communicate findings clearly.Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define analytical requirements, and translate business questions into data outputs.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness by reviewing source data, logic, and output results before sharing insights.
- Summarize findings in clear, concise formats that support decision-making for operational and strategic discussions.
- Document analytical methods, assumptions, and reporting definitions to support consistency and transparency.Apply AI tools within daily analytical work to streamline routine tasks such as drafting analysis summaries, organizing notes, or exploring data patterns, while reviewing outputs carefully and using judgment before sharing results.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and recurring analysis needs.
- Assist with process improvements for reporting and data workflows.
- Help maintain consistency across dashboards, metrics, and definitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-related questions.Contribute to data quality checks and issue resolution.Participate in testing and validation for reporting changes.
- Share recommendations for improving visibility into performance.Learn new tools and methods that improve analytical efficiency.
Expected Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related function.
- Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL.Hands-on experience with Python for analysis, automation, or data preparation.
- Experience using one or more visualization tools such as Salesforce CRM Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or R Studio.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured business data to produce actionable insights.Ability to translate business questions into analytical outputs and clear recommendations.
- Strong attention to accuracy, data integrity, and documentation.Experience collaborating with stakeholders in a business or operational setting.
