“The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning.”
Your responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics plans for specific projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and requirements. Coordinate with project managers to understand project needs and logistics requirements.

Oversee inventory levels for project-specific materials, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment. Manage inventory records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for project logistics, including creation and maintenance of instructions and maintenance of SharePoint within Outbound logistic. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including trade compliance and safety regulations.

Maintain regular communication with project managers, logistics coordinators, and other stakeholders to provide updates on logistics status and address any issues. Prepare and present regular reports on project logistics performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and any escalations.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project logistics processes and overall

efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project logistics management.

Manage communication of necessary information with Project management, Installation Project Management, Coe, Supply Chain, GTS and any other stakeholders. Data Maintenance in SAP and report to necessary responsible the missing data for update. Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team on the update of the country of origin and Certificate of Conformity.

Define Country of origin of set of material within single material number as per GTS concept calculation. Collaborate with the Trade Compliance team to ensure compliance with Dual Use and HS Classification, Preferential and Non-Preferential trade agreements, and Sanctions. Manage all other administrative activities necessary for the release of delivery notes and the delivery of goods.
