Key Responsibilities
Workspace ONE UEM Administration
Perform daily administration of Workspace ONE UEM console, including:
Console navigation
Organization Groups (OGs)
Smart Groups
Bulk device and user actions
Support UEM operational tasks across production environments.
Android Enterprise (Rugged / Dedicated Devices)
Manage Android Enterprise Device Owner deployments.
Support Dedicated / Kiosk and Shared Device use cases.
Understand rugged device management concepts for warehouse and frontline operations.
Profiles & Configurations
Configure and maintain device profiles including:
Wi-Fi (EAP / Certificates-based authentication)
Certificates and credential profiles
Device restrictions and security policies
Launcher, kiosk, and locked-down device configurations
Apply configurations consistently across deployment rings and sites.
OEMConfig & OEM Device Management
Configure and support OEMConfig for:
Zebra (MX Framework, DataWedge, scanner settings)
Honeywell OEM configurations
Deploy OEM-specific settings through Workspace ONE profiles.
Application Management
Manage application lifecycle including:
Internal APK deployment
Google Play Store (Public & Managed Play) apps
Managed configurations
App version upgrades, rollbacks, and testing
Implement deployment rings (pilot UAT production).
Device Enrollment & Staging
Support RF / rugged device enrollment using:
QR code and token-based Android enrollment
Zebra StageNow barcode enrollment and staging flows
Coordinate large-scale device rollouts and refresh activities.
Zebra StageNow & MX
Create, test, and deploy Zebra StageNow profiles.
Configure MX settings and integrate StageNow workflows with Workspace ONE.
Validate device behavior post-staging.
Security & Compliance
Configure and maintain:
Compliance policies
Encryption enforcement
Certificates and credential lifecycle
Device access controls
Monitor and remediate non-compliant devices.
Operational Troubleshooting
Provide L2/L3 support for issues such as:
Enrollment failures
Profile and configuration application issues
Application crashes or performance problems
Wi-Fi connectivity and authentication issues
Support production issues impacting warehouse operations.
Logs & Diagnostics
Analyze and collect logs including:
Workspace ONE UEM device and console logs
Android bug reports
Zebra Logger / RxLogger logs
Work with OEM and Omnissa support teams for root cause analysis.
Production & Vendor Support
Provide remote support for warehouses and field sites.
Coordinate with OEM vendors (Zebra, Honeywell) for device-level issues.
Participate in on-call or extended support during business-critical incidents.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM.
Strong knowledge of Android Enterprise, especially rugged/dedicated devices.
Experience with Zebra devices, StageNow, MX framework, and DataWedge.
Working knowledge of OEMConfig (Zebra and Honeywell).
Good understanding of Wi-Fi, certificates, and Android security concepts.
Experience supporting enterprise or warehouse-scale deployments.
