Associate Content Ingestion Analyst - Data Acquisition & Ingestion (ProQuest)

We are looking for an (Associate) Content Ingestion Analyst to join our Ingest team in Chennai location. This is an amazing opportunity to work on content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion to Clarivate products.

About You 

  • Should have a Bachelors with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Can be a fresher or a talent with 6 months - 1 year experience in content ingestion/customer focused role.
  • Experience or ability to troubleshoot issues and interest to learn on technical aspects of the ingestion process.

It would be great if you also have.....

  • Previous experience in handling data acquisition and ingestion.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Facilitate the acquisition and ingestion of data using established processes (web-harvest, FTP delivery, email, hardcopy, etc) from provided list of resources.  
  • Review data transfer for accuracy, validating against data source, performing corrections, resolving errors, and reporting irregularities as required. 
  • Liaise with content sources where required to ensure complete delivery and resolve any issues. 
  • Update and maintain internal tracking systems. 
  • Monitoring provided list of sources. 

About the Team  

The data acquisition and ingestion team plays vital role in the acquisition, preparation and delivery of content and information for creating products and product functionality in all publication media (print or electronic). Acquires content from providers and assist in implementing new acquisition solutions. Delivers high-quality data and participates in the correction of errors. 

The team is a blend of content experts who review the opportunities for new source content, develop requirements for its acquisition and transformation to be used by curation experts downstream for value-add information.

Hours of Work 

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM IST (including an hour's break)
