Azure Edge Cloud Engineer

At Mindera, we are building a world-class team and would love you to join us as an Azure Edge Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and edge computing, helping to design and implement innovative solutions that leverage Azure's capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of scalable and reliable cloud-based systems, with an emphasis on performance and security.

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. Additionally, you'll be responsible for optimizing resource management in edge environments, making sure that our applications deliver the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud solutions on Azure, focusing on edge computing capabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with Azure services.
• Monitor performance and security of cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security policies, and standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within cloud services.
• Create and maintain documentation of cloud architecture and processes.

What You Bring:

• Extensive experience with Azure services and Edge Essentials.
• Comprehensive experience of edge computing principles and technologies.
• Proficient in using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and ARM templates.
• Expertise in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
• Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell.
• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficient in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and GitOps.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
