Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Administrator Leder to manage enterprise-level BI platforms, with a strong focus on Tableau Online. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to drive scalable, secure, and high-performing BI solutions across the organization. This role demands a blend of hands-on administration, stakeholder management, and strategic vision to support unified analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Technical Leadership & Platform Management- Architect, implement, and manage multiple BI platforms at an enterprise scale.
- Administer and optimize Tableau Online, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide technical solutions and guidance to end-users for building efficient dashboards and visualizations.
- Act as a consultant to business teams, sharing best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Lead operational activities including incident management, user access provisioning, vendor coordination, and platform support.
- Troubleshoot complex BI issues and mentor team members in resolving incidents.
- Monitor and report operational metrics, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement remediations.
- Provide technical leadership across Data & AI verticals, fostering innovation and excellence.
- Engage with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand BI needs and align solutions with business goals.
- Collaborate with shared services teams (e.g., infrastructure, security, data engineering) to deliver best-in-class BI services.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, translating technical concepts into business value.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for BI services and operations.
- Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for a unified analytics platform and enterprise BI vision.
- Proven experience in administering Tableau Online and other BI platforms (e.g., SAP Business Objects, AWS Quicksight).
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard performance tuning, and user experience optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools.
- Experience with big data platforms, data modelling, ETL processes and warehousing
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python will be a plus
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in BI environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior BI administrators.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Strong documentation and process management capabilities.
- Tableau Certified Administrator / Architect
- AWS/Azure Data Engineer or Architect Certification
- ITIL or similar certification for operational excellence
