About the Job:
As a BI Analyst at Vendasta, you’ll be at the centre of translating business needs into impactful analytics solutions. Partnering directly with leaders across the organization, you'll dig deep into data to tell compelling stories, uncover trends, and recommend actions that drive results. This role is ideal for someone who blends sharp business acumen, strong communication, and analytical talent—with a passion for helping others self-serve and make data-informed decisions.
Your Impact:

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you'll work with the Chief Technical Officer, business unit leaders, and the Data Engineering team to:

• Interpret business needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions that inform high-impact decisions across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Design and iterate dashboards, reports, and insights using Excel and BI tools such as Looker, based on stakeholder feedback and adoption.
• Present insights clearly and confidently to large groups, enabling teams to make data-informed decisions and self-serve with available datasets.
• Support the development of internal data literacy by educating users on available tools, creating enablement content, and championing a data-driven culture.
• Liaise between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment, prioritization, and clarity on analytics projects and business priorities.
  

What you bring to the table:

You bring 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related role in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong foundation in Excel and have demonstrated your ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, meaningful insights. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills—articulate, succinct, and confident when presenting to groups. You’re highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in fast-changing situations. A business degree or MBA is preferred, and familiarity with BI tools like Looker and SQL is considered an asset. Most importantly, you’re a self-starter with a passion for improving how businesses use data—and how AI can make that even better.
