About the role
The Credit and Affordability team are looking for a Credit Functional Analyst to join their team based in Melbourne. As a credit functional Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and governing the consumer collections strategy and dunning framework, ensuring process integrity, compliance, and effective execution across the portfolio.
You will also be driving debt and revenue performance through targeted strategies, including remediation of 90+ aged balances, proactive monitoring of metrics and delivering regulatory and functional changes, manage process exceptions to make us future fit and ensure operational hygiene.
What you’ll be doing:
Executing performance strategies across the portfolio to continuously improve debt and revenue performance.
Develop and implement an action plan for 90+ aged balances/ top debtors remediation across PMF segments.
Proactive monitoring, investigation and analysis of debt performance reports, metrics, forecasts and trends, on a daily and weekly basis.
Interpreting, documenting and delivering regulatory/ functional changes that may impact data, system or process in a timely manner.
Executing performance strategies across the portfolio to continuously improve debt and revenue performance.
Implementation of debt performance initiatives that impact positively on debt book and customer experience.
What you’ll bring:
Process knowledge in credit management and collections, particularly within energy industry.
Understanding of dunning process/ collection strategies
Ability to analyse processes, recommend a solution & drive the solution to completion.
Clear understanding of ERP platforms (added advantage to have prior exposure to Salesforce, SAP ISU / CRM)
Strong analytical and reporting skills with focus on detail (added advantage to have SQL knowledge)
High quality written and verbal communication.
Proven experience as a business/operational analyst in similar or related businesses.
