About our Team
The Customer Data Operations (C-DOT) team is part of the Customer Service and Order to Cash Enablement division. This team is responsible for providing efficient, timely, and accurate service to Elsevier stakeholders in validation, creation and maintenance of organization customer accounts.
About the Role
The role of the Data OPS Associate is to support the Customer Support and Order to Cash department by providing outstanding customer experience to our internal customers. Internal stakeholders involve ECH Business and Tech team, Sales and Account Support, Data Stewards.
Responsibilities
Maintain and create customer accounts in relevant systems.
Ensure all the assigned activities orders / agreements / emails are processed within the agreed Turnaround Time & quality.
Respond professionally to customer queries by phone/ and e-mail using the Best Practice guidelines.
Adhering to Business/Process requirements as per SOP/Training Module.
Complete RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for any escalations received for team with appropriate CAPAs (Corrective Action & Preventive Action)
Support or lead small scale process improvements
Adhere to the Quality Auditing process, whenever required for the team
Requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly flexible and open to change, improvements, and evolving processes.
Intermediate analytical ability with experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies.
Strong attention to detail with good comprehension and accuracy in handling information.
Experience in report generation, data analysis, and a data-driven approach to decision making.
Basic documentation and process mapping skills, with experience in writing, editing, and reviewing texts.
Proficient in PC usage, Windows operating systems, internet browsers, and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (customer service, stakeholder management, or data/MDM related roles); basic understanding of Master Data Management and Order to Cash/customer service processes is an advantage.
