Key Responsibilities
Culture
- Operate autonomously within a small and tight-knit team.
- Foster open and transparent communication skills.

Technical Attributes
- Proficiency in languages such as Delphi/Pascal, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong DevOps background with an ability to embed this into the business.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Ability to enhance and optimize older code.
- Knowledge of Database (RDBMS), Cloud applications, REST architecture, and Microsoft Windows OS interaction. Experience using external source control, particularly GitHub, Bitbucket.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business needs, support, and understand market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
- Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and strategy.
- Translate the product vision into actionable tasks and goals for the team.
Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with technical leads to make informed decisions on technology stack and architecture.
- Complete and maintain documentation of all product development aspects.
- Adhere to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to incorporate into the product development process.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the development process and implement mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or product quality. Quality Assurance
- Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Implement testing procedures and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure product reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product development, with a focus on leadership roles.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and navigate ambiguity.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing, collaborative teams.
- In-depth understanding of product development processes and industry practices.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools in the product development space.
Must Have Skills
- Extensive Delphi/Pascal programming experience
- DevOps knowledge/experience
- To have led a team remotely.
Highly Favorable Attributes
- Development experience in POS systems.
- An energetic “doer”.
- Experience with IntraWeb
- Experience migrating Desktop apps to the web
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with other Developers, particularly with knowledge or experience working across Delph/Pascali and Java Script.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
