Job DescriptionJoin the growing CIS Connected Systems & Infrastructure team coding and testing new solutions to automate our critical infrastructure. We are looking for strong candidates who want to help refine and expand our test automation and frameworks. You will be responsible for shaping the direction and quality of CI/CD pipelines and frameworks utilized to test them. The Developer in Test designs, develops, and maintains complex automation and custom test frameworks. They assist in the development of the next technological steps for our application with an eye towards testability and integrating with our current technologies. They fully understand and support the role of the Quality Assurance Engineer by providing automation test strategies and tools for our technologies and systems. They also perform quality assurance tasks such as test planning, test case generation and feature testing.
Qualifications- EXPERIENCE: 4 to 10 years
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Vast experience with object-oriented programming and technical quality assurance role
- Proficient at scripting in one or more languages
- An awareness of evolving technologies in use by the technology industry as a whole
- Proficient at working with databases, web application frameworks, and command line interfaces
- Demonstrated ability with Object-oriented design and coding skills
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop test automation
- Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools
- Experience implementing and testing CI/CD Pipelines
- Proficient in driving technical and process improvements
- Working knowledge of Java application development and Windows/UNIX/Linux systems
Working knowledge of unit testing
