Position Summary

1. Explore areas to apply machine learning technology, develop measures on collecting data used for model learning and evaluation and collect data.
2. Develop data pre-processing and feature extraction algorithms and modeling/pattern recognition algorithm by reflecting data characteristics.
3. Perform to optimize data analysis software, develop performance evaluation measures and evaluate.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [Finding areas to apply machine learning technology] Analyze data collected while using software in actual situation, measuring/inspecting process and etc. and execute to apply machine learning technology.

2. [Collecting and managing training data] Supervise to develop measures on collecting and managing effective data used for training machine learning algorithm.

3. [Developing data pre-processing algorithm] Reflect the features of collected data well and design pre-processing algorithm that eases unnecessary complexity.

4. [Developing modeling and pattern recognition algorithm] Design suitable machine learning model or algorithm in accordance with the purpose of application that users want.

5. [Developing performance evaluation measures] Execute performance evaluation strategy to evaluate and maintain the effectiveness of developed application.

6. [Securing and managing large-scale computing resources] Supervise to manage computing server to use algorithm that requires massive computing resources such as deep learning and massive data.

Skills and Qualifications

• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks

• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing

• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
