The Talent Operations Data Analyst will serve as an analytical resource supporting the optimisation of Talent Acquisition processes and systems. The ideal candidate will navigate the diverse needs of the People & Places team with relentless attention to detail and focus on efficiency and scale. They will have a strong business acumen, operate autonomously in a fast-paced, changing environment, and will translate complex technical concepts and findings into actionable insights  to audiences of varying levels of technical expertise. 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Build and maintain dashboards to generate insights for various functions across Talent Acquisition and our broader People team.
  • Write highly-optimised SQL queries to leverage in reporting.
  • Utilize technical and subject matter expertise to identify gaps or inefficiencies in process and data quality and proactively communicate recommendations around opportunities for improvement.
  • Write and maintain thorough documentation on data infrastructure, metrics, and processes for internal use within the analytics team and external use by stakeholders across the business.
  • Advise stakeholders in the navigation and interpretation of data visualizations to enable a self-service reporting model.
  • Deliver on ad-hoc data and reporting requests for various functions across the People & Places team.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Science.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Sigma).
  • Able to work independently and quickly adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to efficiently analyse complex data sets from multiple sources and present actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong project and change management skills.


Special Sauce* (Nice to Haves)

  • Previous experience with Greenhouse and/or Workday data is a plus.
