Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Generalist & Global Mobility Specialist to join our dynamic People Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a blend of core People functions while leading travel and immigration activities for global talent needs. You will play a critical role in enhancing team member experience and ensuring compliance with immigration and travel regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Mobility (Travel & Immigration)
- Manage and oversee the complete immigration process, ensuring compliance with global regulations.
- Prepare and review immigration petitions and supporting documents.
- Serve as the primary liaison with legal advisors, government agencies, and external consultants for immigration matters.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations, proactively communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Provide end-to-end support to employees on visa, work authorization, and travel-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of team members' visa statuses, work permits, and travel history.
- Coordinate international and regional travel, accommodation, and related logistics.
HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Administer compensation and benefits plans.
- Support the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide support to team members on People policies, leave management, and compensation-related queries.
- Promote and implement People initiatives to foster an inclusive and engaging work environment.
- Assist in the development and communication of People policies.
- Support performance management activities, including reviews and goal tracking.
- Maintain accurate team member records (digital and paper) and statutory compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with statutory consultants to ensure compliance with labour regulations.
- Gather and analyze People data to inform key decision-making, including turnover rates and hiring metrics.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, including team-building activities.
Skills, Competencies & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on immigration and global mobility.
- In-depth knowledge of global immigration regulations and visa processes.
- Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Experience in coordinating employee travel and accommodations.
- Analytical mindset with experience gathering and interpreting People data.
