Primary Objective of Position

In this role you will develop and implement regional EMEAP HCP marketing campaigns and activities, including omni-channel marketing plans for Abbott Diabetes Care, ensuring a unified, integrated HCP experience throughout the entire Primary & Secondary Care journey for the FSL portfolio of products and services.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies tailored to the needs of endocrinologists, pediatricians and primary care physicians in the EMEAP region.
  • Align regional marketing strategies with global objectives and adapt them to local market needs and dynamics.
  • Ensure all content is compliant with local regulations and effectively communicates product benefits to HCPs.
  • Lead all Medical Marketing activities to drive superior medical marketing including creation and broad dissemination of branded medical/educational content towards the wider Medical community in Primary & Secondary Care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), PC HCPs in the region.
  • Organize and participate in regional conferences, webinars, and other events to engage with the Primary & Secondary Care HCP community, end-to-end International Congress Management: Planning & organization, Global strategy execution at EMEA Level regarding messaging & communication materials, 360° Promotion of scientific events.
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs with focus on strategic objectives associated with Healthcare Professions HCPs and other external medical stakeholders, with the ultimate objective to deliver commercial acquisition and retention goal.
  • Support the development and execution of HCP Marketing Plan in strong collaboration with the global Marketing department, deep understanding of targeted HCP segments.
  • Ensure consistency in Sales Force detailing/messaging executions though regular steering /deployment cycles and strong collaboration with Sales Training.
  • Develop omnichannel marketing approaches and programs and ensure message activation according to the HCP customer journey across relevant channels in collaboration with touchpoint experts (Paid Media, CRM, Website, etc..).
  • Own the in-market success of HCP collateral, tracking and gathering Sales feedback and making adaptations to collateral as required.
  • Undertake campaign effectiveness monitoring, with market research colleagues where necessary.
  • Manage the marketing budget for HCP initiatives within the EMEAP region, steer relevant Health Care Agencies and associated budgets to ensure delivery of projects on time and in high quality.

Qualifications

  • Higher University Degree
  • Extensive HCP Marketing experience in a pharmaceutical, RX driven environment working with exposure to various HCP stakeholders, Sales & Agencies.
  • Significant experience in working with Specialty Care Physicians.
  • Public speaking experience and fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
  • Collaborative, driven to excel and capable of inspiring others to excellence as well.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Saleforce.com and/or Veeva CRM or equivalent tools.
  • Nice to have: Experience in working with Primary Care Physicians as well as detailing of RX driven product /scientific concepts for mass adoption.
  • Nice to have: Experience in HCP omnichannel marketing campaigns development and execution with strong performance.
