Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced US IT Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals for various clients in the US market. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of recruitment strategies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other sourcing techniques.
- Screen and evaluate candidates through resume review, phone screenings, and interviews.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and candidate expectations.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Negotiate compensation packages, benefits, and contract terms with candidates.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Work with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain records.
- Stay updated on current US immigration laws, work authorizations (H1B, Green Card, OPT, TN, etc.), and tax terms (C2C, W2, 1099).
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Meet and exceed recruitment targets and deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-8+ years of experience in US IT recruitment.
- Strong understanding of US hiring practices, IT job roles, and technical terminologies.
- Experience with job portals (Dice, Monster, Indeed, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in night shifts (US time zones).
- Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with staffing agencies or direct clients.
- Knowledge of VMS (Vendor Management System) hiring processes.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
