Job Description:
The role contains the following attributes:
- End to end managing of the statutory reporting process for some of the complex DXC entities across regions independently.
- Preparation of financial statement under different GAAPs(IFRS,UK GAAP etc..)
- The role will interface with the regional statutory reporting managers, controllers, corporate shared services team across the region.
- Need to manage the audit process remotely by coordinating from Chennai / Bangalore with auditors located at different region.
- Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts relating to investments in subsidiaries, Equity related accounts.
- Support controllership team for any ongoing projects relating to finance / business related matters and perform, wherever necessary, in preparing detailed project evaluation report.
- Requires handling team for the region assigned and monitor / review the progress of preparation and audit completion.
Team handling:
Should have experience of handling team of minimum 3 to 5 person in the current role.
Skill set
Qualified CA with more than 8 years of Post qualification, with at least 4+ years relevant experience in statutory reporting and in handling audits.
If candidate have additional qualification like CMA or ACCA and worked with such qualification, the same can be considered as post qualification experience.
Operational expertise:
- Must have experience in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
- Must have dealt with auditors directly or must be handling a team who deal with auditors.
- Any previous experience of handling financial projects like implementation of IFRS 15, 9, 16 or streamlining the process is added advantage.
- Exposure to US GAAP or IFRS or INDAS
- Knowledge / working knowledge of SAP is preferable
- Good communication skills
