Role Purpose

The Master Data Management Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of marketing data across the organization. This position involves creating data governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to data protection regulations, and leveraging advanced data integration and predictive analytics to guide strategic decision-making. The perfect candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SQL, data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and will have a comprehensive understanding of database systems and data management practices.

Principal Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance & Policy Development:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of marketing data.

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in data management.

Data Management & Maintenance:

• Manage and maintain marketing data, ensuring high quality standards through rigorous data cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management and ensure data integrity across systems.

Database Systems & Data Integration:

• Use expertise in database systems, particularly SQL, to manage and manipulate large datasets.

• Implement data integration techniques to consolidate data from multiple sources, creating a unified and accurate data repository.

Complex Data Analysis & Predictive Analysis

• Analyse complex datasets to extract actionable insights that support marketing strategies and decision-making processes

• Using predictive analytics techniques to forecast trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics, inform strategic planning.

Customer & Prospect Data Management:

• Manage customer data to enhance insights, improve marketing effectiveness, and personalise marketing efforts.

• Ensure customer data is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored, adhering to all relevant regulations.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify potential risks associated with data management and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

• Ensure all data management activities comply with data protection regulations and industry standards. Stakeholder Reporting & Strategic Insights:

• Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders, presenting data-driven insights that inform marketing strategies and business decisions.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure data management practices support overall business objectives.

Data Quality Assurance:

• Continuously monitor and improve data quality, implementing best data cleansing, validation, and enrichment practices.

• Ensure that data is dependable and fit for purpose, supporting accurate analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Essential Competencies

• Proven experience in data management, with a focus on marketing data.

• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data protection regulations.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.

Expertise in data integration techniques and predictive analytics.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

• Experience in identifying and mitigating data management risks.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
