We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics SCM Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions for enterprise clients. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in supply chain operations, business process transformation, and Dynamics 365 implementations who can translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
As a Microsoft Dynamics SCM Consultant, you will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional teams, and technical consultants to deliver end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and optimizing Dynamics 365 SCM modules while ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The role requires strong consulting capabilities, functional expertise, and the ability to lead large-scale ERP transformation projects across procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and planning functions.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM)solutions across enterprise environments.
- Analyze business processes and gather functional requirements to design scalable supply chain solutions.
- Configure and optimize Dynamics 365 SCM modules including Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Production Control, Master Planning, and Transportation Management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define future-state supply chain processes and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct solution design workshops, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and functional documentation.
- Coordinate with technical teams to support integrations, customizations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, training sessions, and post-implementation support.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance through process optimization, automation, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, recommend enhancements, and ensure system stability and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior consultants, support project governance, and contribute to solution architecture and delivery standards.
- 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.
- Strong functional expertise across procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain planning.
- Proven experience leading Dynamics 365 SCM implementation, upgrade, or transformation projects.
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain Operations, ERP best practices, and business process optimization.
- Experience conducting business requirement gathering, solution design, fit-gap analysis, and functional consulting engagements.
- Familiarity with integrations, data migration, reporting, testing, and deployment methodologies within Microsoft Dynamics environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities with a customer-focused consulting mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities while delivering high-quality consulting solutions within defined timelines.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications and prior experience in large enterprise ERP transformation programs will be an added advantage.
