Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Engineer to join our dynamic Power BI team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Microsoft Fabric to build, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. This role requires proficiency in both ETL processes and report writing, although we recognize that candidates may have a stronger preference or expertise in one of these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards within Microsoft Fabric to support business intelligence requirements.
  • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Microsoft Fabric environment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality, actionable reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and efficiency within the Power BI environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
  • Optimize existing reports for performance and usability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and enhancements related to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Provide support and training to end-users as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Power BI report creation, visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, including designing data pipelines and transformations within Microsoft Fabric or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data modeling principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or related technologies are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric for data integration and analytics.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft tools and technologies related to data analytics.
