Job Description:

   

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives

Job Family Definition:

Defines, develops, evaluates and oversees the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning and long-term profits. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development, Finance and other key stakeholders to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Prioritizes and delivers on opportunities to monetize products offered initially at little to no cost, or to implement upsell opportunities as products are repositioned in the marketplace. Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections. Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

  • Drive margin balancing activities through detailed analysis, evaluation, and approval of pricing proposals to support business objectives.
  • Lead pricing process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for pricing process re-engineering and simplification to enhance productivity and reduce operational complexity.
  • Ensure adoption and compliance with pricing policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance process documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with Sales teams and Business Units (BUs) to provide pricing guidance, support decision-making, and enable business growth.
  • Conduct pricing analysis, market assessments, and profitability reviews to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve pricing challenges and implement strategic pricing solutions.
  • Prepare and present pricing insights, recommendations, and performance metrics to management and business leaders.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business management or equivalent
  • Typically, 7+ years of experience in pricing or finance

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in pricing, financial analysis, deal support, or commercial operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Finance, and Business Units.
  • Strong process improvement and documentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
