We are looking for a Senior Product Owner who will:
- Liaise with key stakeholder (Strategic Architecture community) to understand the product roadmap and strategic vision.
- Collaborating with Product Management to align Encompass deployment, operational capability, and roadmap delivery.
- Liaise with System and Strategic architects to understand technical direction including ‘architectural runway’.
- Define and maintain an effective feature backlog aligned with the roadmap and architecture.
- Define feature scope including acceptance criteria for all features.
- Communicate business context for epics and features to the development teams.
- Have a prioritized backlog ready for each Program Increment planning.
- Act as a proxy for the customer during development activities to provide feedback on fitness and usability.
- Act as a proxy for the end user persona's to ensure all documentation are written from their point of view.
- Accept features that are done according to an agreed definition of ‘done’.
- Promote usage of AI for help improve both production improvement and work practices.
- Communicate scope to stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Interact with various departments like Professional Services, Managed Services, Platform Engineering etc to gather end user feedback and funnelling them in our product roadmap.
You should have
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall experience. Prior Architect/Product Owner experience is good to have.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum. Experience with scaled agile practices is favourable.
- Experience with ADO and DevOps.
- Strong hands-on development experience in the past.
- Demonstrating strong command on written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand technical design concepts, current implementation and future enhancements on a technical scale.
- Having fair understanding of cloud technologies, preferable AWS, but others are welcomed too.
- Having exposure to container, container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes will be preferred.
- Have experience with Encompass product deployment and a strong understanding of operational pain points and usability challenges.
- Having exposure to Operations and Deployment models in production environments.
