Product Quality Tester (i1)
The Role:
We are building a new Product Quality team in Chennai to support the validation and quality assurance of our consumer electronics products. Within this team, the Product Quality Tester will be responsible for validating new products and to support the engineering team during the development phases. The role is hands-on and operational, contributing directly to prototyping, production, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test systems.
We are seeking an individual with a deep passion for gaming and digital entertainment, coupled with a sharp attention to detail and a natural inclination for problem-solving. As a key member of our testing team, you will have the opportunity to explore and evaluate gaming devices, contribute to the improvement of digital entertainment products, and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
Your Contribution:
In this role you will:
Perform Validation test on Logitech products (Controllers, Simulators, Mice, Keyboards)
Use lab equipment and Test Bench to ensure product functionality
Learn and execute validation plans
Document and follow up discovered bugs
Assemble and disassemble electronic products according to technical drawings and schematic
Perform wiring of electronic assemblies, including crimping, soldering, and cable routing
Build and modify wiring harnesses according to schematics and specifications
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Experience in using external devices to play games (Racing, Flighting, Shooting….)
Experience in manual and automatic test execution, preferable in the consumer electronics
Experience in a quality department or strong will to work for a quality department
Competences in Electronics
Ability to understand electronics schematics
Ability to perform measure with electronic equipment
Ability to use protocol analyzers
Ability to solder, modify, DIY Electronic devices
Solution oriented mindset, Autonomous, reliable and rigorous
Fluency in English
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Competences in Software and Embedded Software
Python knowledge
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Education:
Technician in Electronics or equivalent
