Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to manage and enhance the public image of our fintech brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong media relationships, managing external communications, and positioning the company as a trusted, innovative financial technology partner in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute public relations strategies to promote the company’s brand, products, and services in alignment with business goals.
  • Handle crisis communication promptly, professionally, and with minimal brand risk.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and government/public stakeholders.

  • Write and distribute press releases, media briefs, executive speeches, and talking points.

  • Organize and manage press conferences, product launch events, and public-facing campaigns.

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR effectiveness and brand sentiment.

  • Serve as the company spokesperson when required and support leadership in media appearances or public events.

  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies, financial associations, and local communities.

  • Facilitate the resolution of public or third-party disputes to protect and reinforce brand reputation.
  • Continuously identify and evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising that align with PR objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a public relations or corporate communications role, preferably in fintech, banking, or startup sectors.

  • Strong network in local and regional media circles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.

  • Sound understanding of financial products, regulatory language, and fintech ecosystems.

  • Crisis management experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
