Reporting and Analytics Assistant Manager

Job Description:

The Reporting & Analytics Assistant Manager needs to be well versed with Business Intelligence stack having strong skills and experience in developing, publishing and scheduling Qlik sense, Qlik, visual reports and dashboards as per business requirements.
This position will support development of custom reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources which includes azure synapse, data bricks unity catalog views, SQL server and embed the reports and dashboards in other applications using embedded analytics such as Qlik sense, Qlik, service or by API automation. 

Your Role:

• Analyzes complex datasets from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making aligns with business objectives and compliance standards, working under general supervision.
• Strong hands-on experience in Qliksense, Qlik , with multiple external data sources like azure synapse, datalake and databricks unity catalog views.
• dept in development, publishing and scheduling Qliksense, Qlik , reports as per the business requirements.
• Understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• Have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Qliksense, Qlik , desktop/Pro
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Good understanding of application security layer models in Qliksense, Qlik , and experience in implementing row level data security
• Experience in implementing advance level calculations on the data set.
• Experience in creating composite model with different data sources.
• Excellent knowledge in data usage, Scheduling, Data Refresh and diagnostics
• Have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.
• Experience in integrating Qliksense, Qlik , reports into other applications using embedded analytics like API automation.
• Any experience in Phyton/R Script to create visuals in Qliksense, Qlik ,/Power Queries is a plus
• Experience to do capacity planning for the report service/server provisioning is a plus.
• Worked in an agile (scrum) environment with globally distributed teams
• Analytical bent of mind
• Business acumen and articulation skills; ability to capture business needs and translate into a solution
• Ability to manage interaction with business stakeholders and others within the organization
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Proven experience in interfacing with different source systems
• Proven experience in data modelling & Performance optimization

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 6 years of experience in an analytical role
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets using SQL and experience with business intelligence tools like Qliksense
• Experience partnering with business stake holders and creating analytical business cases and deriving analytical product insights
• Experience partnering with development team during development phase to explain requirements and support team to debug issues
• Working with databases like Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Synapse analytics, databricks unity catalog views
• Knowledge in finance domain is an added advantage but not mandatory

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
