Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revit Designer with a strong background in wood frame construction to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural and structural models using Revit, focusing on residential and light commercial wood-framed buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Revit models for wood-framed structures.
- Create detailed construction documents including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Coordinate models with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members throughout the design and construction documentation phases.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, company standards, and client requirements.
- Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.
- Update drawings and models as changes occur during design development or construction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience using Autodesk Revit in professional settings.
- 3+ years of experience working on wood frame construction projects.
- Strong understanding of residential/light commercial construction techniques and standards.
- Proficient in creating families, schedules, and detailed 3D models in Revit.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience with building codes and standards related to wood construction (e.g., IRC, IBC, NDS).
- Familiarity with other design tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Experience in prefab, modular, or panelized wood construction is a plus.
