This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide sales support & technical solutions for the business. This role involves hands on work and providing technical & commercial solutions for Energy Industries customers.

The work model for the role is: LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing Bid Activities for Green Field and Brown Field Excitation System offerings.

  • Selection of Product, preparation of techno commercial offer, co-ordination with Factory for Excitation Products.

  • Manage productivity, drive standardization, delivery quality & competitive solution.

  • Participate in Bidding strategy, cost optimization, technical Solution innovation, support project handover.

  • Managing timely Technical & Commercial offer delivery, monitoring quality of bids and driving productivity.

  • Understanding the various International Standard/ statutory requirement for Excitation System. Cost calculation &

  • Ownership of commercial offer delivery.

  • Close interaction with Sales Solution team for smooth deliverable and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the role

  • BE or B. Tech Degree ideally focused on Electrical / Electronics /Control

  • Previous Bid & Engineering experience for Excitation System, Both Brown Field and Green Field

  • Good knowledge of Excitation Products. (ABB & Non ABB)

  • Knowledge of DC Drive Product

  • Ideally 3 to 5 years’ experience within the Energy industry but not essential

  • Experience in bidding of international projects.

  • Enjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors
