By joining our team, you’ll be helping real people get work done from anywhere with our cloud solutions. We value diverse perspectives, bold thinking, and a learning mindset. As we enter a new phase of growth and transformation, now is the perfect time to take your skills to the cloud.

About This Team:

The Citrix Engineering team is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Development Engineer to join our Core Engineering group. We build enterprise-grade, next-generation cloud solutions that operate at scale across major public cloud platforms. This team owns the full lifecycle of Citrix Cloud services—including security, availability, performance, compliance, cost optimization, change management, monitoring, and incident response.

We’re looking for engineers who thrive on solving complex problems, influencing technical direction, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Required Experience/Skill-sets and Key Responsibilities:
  • 4–7 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in object-oriented programming—preferably using .NET, C#, or Python.
  • Design and implement AI-powered enterprise-grade secure, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS cloud services and distributed systems applications and REST APIs using a microservices-based architecture on public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

  • Experience with advanced AI/ML technologies is a strong plus. Working knowledge with concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, Azure Open AI, AI Cognitive Search, AI Foundry, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) is highly desirable.

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also valued), and all their major Cloud Native PaaS services.

  • Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, system design, and SOLID principles.

  • Build enterprise-grade RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring resilience, scalability, and high availability.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and IaC tools like Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Jenkins, TeamCity, ARM templates, and serverless architectures.

  • Implement observability and performance improvements using monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Azure App Insights, and Log Analytics.

  • Implement cloud security best practices and threat remediation.

  • Develop automation and self-healing capabilities using Chaos Engineering principles to improve service reliability and meet Citrix Cloud SLAs.

  • Apply a data-driven mindset to optimize performance, availability, cost-efficiency, and business outcomes.

  • Familiarity with developing UI using JavaScript/React.js will be a plus.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or higher degree (BE/BTech/BS) in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed engineering institution.
