Lead ABAP development: translate complex requirements into technical specs, develop and test ABAP solutions (including ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP, RAP), tune performance, manage multiple projects, implement integrations (IDocs, proxies, OData/Gateway), deliver forms (Adobe/Smart Forms), run workshops, and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities:Technical Expertise & Development
- Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Create detailed plans and accurate estimates for development, testing, and implementation.
- Perform performance tuning to optimize application efficiency across multiple functions.
- Act as a technical expert in identifying and resolving application issues promptly.
Project & Task Management
- Manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.
Core SAP ABAP Development
- Strong knowledge of ABAP with real-time exposure to RIWCEF components and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in ABAP 7.5 programming syntax.
- Experience with enhancement techniques: BADI, User Exit, Customer Exit, Implicit and Explicit Enhancements.
- Expertise in output forms: Adobe Forms, Smart forms.
SAP HANA & Advanced ABAP
- ABAP on HANA: CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), ALV with IDA (Integrated Data Access).
- CDS Views with UI Annotations for building Fiori apps using Fiori Elements.
- Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
- Development experience with OData v2 and SAP Gateway.
- Familiarity with OData v4.
- Experience with IDOCs and Proxies for system integration.
- Knowledge of Output Management in S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus).
- Nice to have knowledge in SAP Workflow., Fiori/UI5, and Core Data Services (CDS) views.
- Graduation in Engineering or relevant with 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP.
- Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, including custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, and CDS views.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with performance tuning and clean core development principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Communication & Collaboration
- Facilitate workshops to gather and understand business requirements.
- Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Mentor and coach junior developers to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing.
