Senior Executive ‐ Business Development

(Based at MAS Fabric – Matrix - Thulhiriya)

MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to liaise with existing customers or on potential leads in carrying out-out all related activities from the receipt of the style to the development of the fit samples, coordinate with relevant parties as required to meet customer requirements and achieve business objective through maximizing sales revenue with high service level and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with the Customer & the Category Team in the Sample Development process to meet customer’s product acceptance criteria (time, quality and cost) and work towards commercializing the sample development to ensure customer onboarding (new sales), retention and growth (existing sales).
  • Follow up on customer forecasts / order placements, production planning & follow up orders with production updating systems to ensure order fulfilment of samples
  • Liaise with IE and Finance Teams and provide information on costing/product information in order to facilitate management / operational decision making.
  • Coordinate with work-study and monitor raw material consumption per style and ensure production parameters are maintain in order to facilitate on time delivery of goods to the customer.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Marketing or professional qualification in CIM
  • 3–4 years (or more) experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the textile/apparel manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with flat knitting or related apparel production is highly desirable.
  • Client Management Experience
  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing key accounts in the apparel/fashion segment.
  • Experience in handling domestic and international clients is a plus.
