Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Project FP&A will be based in Chennai, India. In this position, you will report to the Senior Director, Finance. We are seeking a leader for our project P&L FP&A team, that will be a strategic business partner to our executive leadership teams, owning financial planning systems & processes. This role is highly analytical, which requires attention to details. The ideal candidate will be a modeling powerhouse, that will work collaboratively across Sales Ops, Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain to streamline P&L forecasting and support financial planning processes. Here is a glimpse of what you will do:
- Develop & lead short & long-range revenue & profitability forecasting for European business
- Be a Strategic business partner to our executive leadership team, provide insights highlighting potential risks and opportunities to guide the senior leadership team
- Understand and model the financial impact of any regulation changes
- Participate in deal pricing discussions, pipeline reviews and impact to financial forecasts
- Drive cross functional process improvements to enable improved financial visibility & forecast accuracy
- Support system upgrades and process improvement initiatives for finance functions.
Here is some of what you will need (required):
- Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience supporting Project FP&A, preferably in Solar industry.
- Critical Leadership skills to continuously improve forward looking FP&A capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of project-based ASC-606 accounting standards.
- Ability to drive cross functional process improvement.
- Exceptional modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of operational ERP functions and intercompany processes in a multinational corporation.
- Flexible to work in US time zone.
