Overview
We are seeking a skilled .NET Mobile Developer to lead the migration of our existing mobile application from Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI for Android and iOS. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the app post-migration, focusing on location-based features, geo-fencing, push notifications, and Bluetooth beacon scanning. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Migration: Transition our Xamarin.Forms app to .NET MAUI for Android and iOS platforms.
- Feature Development: Design and develop new features post-migration using .NET MAUI.
- API Integration: Collaborate on backend API integrations to ensure seamless app functionality.
- Enhance Location-Based Features: Implement and optimize geo-fencing, push notifications, and Bluetooth beacon scanning.
- Database Collaboration: Work with backend developers to integrate and manage SQL and Cosmos DB.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain app stability and performance.
- Version Control: Utilize GitHub to manage version control and code integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest in .NET and mobile technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven Expertise: Extensive Android and iOS development experience using .NET, Xamarin.Forms, and .NET MAUI.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of geo-fencing, push notifications, and Bluetooth beacon technologies.
- Backend Integration: Hands-on experience with REST API integrations.
- Database Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with Cosmos DB (preferred but not mandatory).
- Version Control: Experience with GitHub for repository management.
- Strong Communicator: Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Blazor for cross-platform or web-based components.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and mobile app security best practices.
