The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for managing third party risk associated with DISH's data. This includes maintaining an inventory of third parties, supporting the security review process, monitoring issues, leading annual audits, and improving the third party risk management program. The role requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain an inventory of 3 rd parties who possess and/or access DISH data, what data the 3 rd party possess/accesses, how the data is used, and its life cycle within the 3 rd party.
- Support completion of DISH's security review process for all new 3rd parties that receive and/or have access to DISH data.
- Collaborate with business partners across the enterprise in the execution of DISH's Third Party Monitoring program.
- Monitor open 3rd party issues and remediation actions associated with security control gaps to ensure timely closure.
- Participate in DISH's annual PCI audit, leading the effort regarding 3 rd parties within the scope of the audit.
- Continuously improve the overall TPRM program.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of information security concepts and controls
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work within deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, design project plans, and provide project updates
- Ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision
- Superior communication skills with the ability to ask questions, escalate roadblocks early, and interact effectively at multiple levels in the organization
- Data entry - attention to detail with the ability to correct on the fly and work independently
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3-4 years of experience working in Third Party Risk Management
- Experience in leading projects
- Experience working with contract documents is a big plus - contract administration and management, not negotiation
- Bachelors degree required
