Senior Software Engineer - Configuration

We are seeking a motivated Senior Software Engineer (Configuration, Web-development experience) to join our team, dedicated to enhancing and expanding the Optiqs360 Digital platform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with SaaS/cloud solutions and who thrives on solving technical challenges through configuration rather than traditional software development.

We are looking for a talented individual who can quickly contribute by configuring application screens, customizing user interfaces, and translating customer requirements into functional solutions using existing tools.

The role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with configuration mechanisms and has an interest in front-end screen building through Javascript, XML, and JSON rather than coding from scratch.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Strong understanding of configuring application screens using XML, JSON, or other configuration tools.
• 3-5 Years experience in scripting and web development, with knowledge of JavaScript.
• Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and translate them into application functionality using existing configuration mechanisms.
• Knowledge of database concepts, especially SQL, is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in customizing and configuring software to meet specific business needs.

It would be great if you also have . . .  

• Familiarity with building UI components through configuration rather than coding, with tools provided by the platform.
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus, but the role does not involve active development in these frameworks.
• Prior experience in application configuration, UI customization, or ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• High motivation and eagerness to learn, particularly suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand business needs and configure application screens with provided application infrastructure using Javascript, XML and JSON.
• Use the platform’s built-in configuration mechanisms to create custom screens and workflows based on user requirements, without the need for backend development.
• Implement ETL transformations and configure data flows using XML and other scripting methods.
• Continuously adapt the platform’s user interface through configuration adjustments, improving the user experience in line with customer needs.
• Support the team in driving innovation and excellence in configuration work, contributing to the Optiqs360 Digital platform’s growth and evolution.
• Ensure customer requirements are met by delivering functional, configured solutions that utilize the platform’s capabilities.
