Job Summary
Responsible for providing subject matter expertise on the design and implementation of complex ad-serving platforms that enable customers to stream, track, and monetize their content online including, new customer deployments, expansion projects, and internal initiatives. Works as a collaborative member of the sales team to market and sell the Company' s product lines. Provides insight to customers on current network solutions and configuration design. Works closely with sales executives on presentations and the technical design of new sales. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years industry experience in enterprise networking or related field experience required
- Project Management experience is a benefit to assist with the planning and oversight of large customer implementations
- Network Design background highly desired.
- Provide Post Sales solution engineering support for all field resources including Account Executives, Strategic Account Managers, and Global Account Directors
- Provide sustaining engineering support for the existing client base
- Handle moves, adds and changes (MACD)
- Develop strong understanding of the use of Comcast Business Global internal application suite
- Join project status meetings
- Manage & resolve Operations escalations, incidents and problem management
- Administer Self-service portal:
- Customer Portal Training
- Account creation
- Quality Control
- Additional duties as assigned
SKILLS / ABILITIES / KNOWLEDGE
- Working knowledge of: OSI model, IP Subnetting, Routing protocols, Network and Security products and services, back office systems, and fundamental understanding of product stack for network and security
- Technical knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) required
- Strong understanding of networking design, specifically:
- QoS/CoS, Multicast, Routing protocols, Network architecture and function
- Fundamental understanding of Security and UCaaS
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate to expert level capability in Excel, Smartsheet’s, Word and various databases. Knowledge of Formulas, Macros and other toolsets required.
- Able to merge multiple data sets and perform analysis including customer site/service data, billing components and other information into useable data.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and rationalization skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environmen
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule for
- Sound decision-making and judgment, especially under pressur
- Must be a self-starter, efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent duties
