Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Development in Golang/Core Java, J2EE, Struts, spring, Client-Side scripting, Hibernate, LookML, Database
- Development of scalable core-java applications, Web Applications and Web Services
- Develop and optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations, including LookML models, explores, and views.
- Ensure dashboard performance, apply best practices in LookML development, and manage version control using Git.
- Develop creative solutions and write technical design based on the requirements.
- Develop and maintain enterprise grade SaaS software, adapting Agile methodology.
- Assist in tuning and optimization.
- Develop and execute unit tests for product components.
- Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback.
- Promote high quality, scalability, and timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience
- Understanding of Data Structures, algorithms and their applications
- Experience in Java/Golang
- Experience in building microservices using golang/Spring Boot stack (spring cloud, spring-data)
- Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience in profiling applications
- Experience with at least one of the front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
- Good understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in SQL queries
- Must have software development experience using: Java Sprintboot, Kafka, SQL, Linux, Apache Redis,
- Good hands on experience in Looker
- Experience in Looker Basics and LookML
- Experience in Looker Dashboard development and Dashboard Performance optimization
- Experience in LookML API integration
- Experience in LookML Version control system with Git
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and general logical reasoning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Experience: 4 to 10 years
Good to have
- Experience using Looker in multi-tenant environment
- Dashboard deployments across multiple Looker instances
- Software development experience in AWS cloud using: Go, Python, MongoDB, Postgres, Clickhouse
