Staff Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of full-stack, cloud-native applications using .NET, React, and Azure. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to build scalable, robust, and high-performing software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architecture and design of complex, cloud-native systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the development of full-stack features and components, demonstrating expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.

• Code Quality and Standards: Champion code quality, best practices, and coding standards through code reviews and mentorship.

• Technical Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, providing innovative and effective solutions.

• Technology Evangelism: Stay at the forefront of technology trends, evaluating and recommending new technologies and approaches.

• Stakeholder management: Interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders driving prioritization, integration, and adoption as applicable.
   

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET, React, and Azure.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, React, Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos DB), and DevOps practices.

• Platform Skills: Experience with Azure cloud platform and cloud-native development. Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.

• Architecture and Design: Proven ability to design and implement complex, cloud-native architectures.

• Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire other engineers.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.  

• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of tackling complex technical challenges.
