The role
We are seeking a Technical Specialist — Microsoft Technologies to join the Cloud & Infrastructure division. Reporting to the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure Services, this team develops strategy, designs architectures, and ensures consistent implementation across HBK’s commercial functions.
The Technical Specialist will own the architecture, governance, and global implementation of modern Microsoft 365 services across all business units. This is a strategic role that will shape HBK’s IT offerings and support a fast-evolving business landscape.
If you enjoy designing robust, adaptable Microsoft service environments and balancing legacy compatibility with modern Microsoft service capabilities, this role could be an excellent fit.
Key responsibilities
Lead design, governance and implementation of Active Directory/Entra infrastructure globally, ensuring alignment with business needs and cloud strategy.
Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365, Windows platforms, and related Microsoft services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and other Microsoft 365 services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment and lifecycle management of solutions.
Monitor Microsoft 365 and Windows platform developments and recommend proactive improvements.
Define and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices to improve reliability and user experience.
Produce clear documentation, runbooks and reports on architecture decisions, incidents and remediation.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an IT specialist or equivalent role with a strong Microsoft 365 and Windows focus.
Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services, administration and troubleshooting.
Strong architectural experience and a proven ability to design scalable, secure environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
