This Position reports to:

Engineering Manager
 

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: Li-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Marine & Ports division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

-Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
-Kick off meeting (KOM) with the client to mutually agree on scope of work and deviations.
-Preparing the man hour estimate, technical and commercial offer for the project
-Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
-Conducting Power system studies such as,
o Load flow study
o Short circuit study
o Dynamic Motor starting study
o Harmonic analysis
o Transient & load shedding study
o Relay coordination study with Unit protection
o Arc flash study
o Insulation co-ordination study
o Transformer inrush current study
o Renewable Energy and Grid Integration Studies
Preparation of study report. Harmonic measurement at site

Qualifications for the role

# Candidate should have a master’s degree in Power system Analysis/ Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics
# 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
# Hands on and working knowledge on any one of power systems study software such as ETAP/ NEPLAN/ SKM Power /PS CAD/ DigSILENT/ CYME tools etc.
# Must have successfully executed at least two power system studies projects for big networks involving 300buses and
above independently.
# Project execution experience in MV, LV switchgear package and detail engineering would be an added advantage.
