The UX Content Designer will write and maintain UX content for SaaS applications, collaborate with teams, and advocate for user needs throughout the design process.
Responsiblities
- Write clear, concise, and useful UX content for our SAAS applications (web and mobile versions)
- Collaborate with UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, developers, and other SMEs to ensure UX content supports the overall user experience
- Create and update content for microcopy, including tooltips, error messages, and other UI elements
- Empathize with users and advocate for their needs throughout the UX design lifecycle
- Contribute to and maintain the UX style and voice and tone guide, ensuring all content adheres to established industry and in-house standards
- Collaborate with UXR to conduct A/B testing, validate content effectiveness, and gather insights for improvement
- Ensure all content is inclusive and accessible, and meets the needs of users from diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Conduct content audits and reviews to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the product
- Work on concurrent projects at various stages of the design lifecycle
- Previous experience with healthcare or life sciences writing
- A background in SaaS (web and mobile)
- Experience working with UX style guides and design systems
- Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive content
Requirement
- Native-level fluency in English (U.S.)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or equivalent experience in a related role
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates experience with UX Writing and Content Design
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design processes and methodologies
- Ability to empathize with users and write user-centric content
- Experience using Figma and MS Office Suite
- Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Ability to think critically about content choices and articulate the rationale behind them
